How do you install SQL Server 2008 Express on Windows 7?
- I'm reinstalling MS-SQL 2008 Express on Windows 7, and it keeps failing. It says something with the compatibility issue at the beginning of the installation, but of course I'd have to install SP1 after I installed the program, I tried to install SP1 anyway, but still failed on the installation. I tried to use "Repair", but it keeps saying that it's not a valid installation folder (I don't know why it does that!)Here's the log:
Overall summary: Final result: SQL Server installation failed. To continue, investigate the reason for the failure, correct the problem, uninstall SQL Server, and then rerun SQL Server Setup.
