Download error

I have a Mac 10.6.8 I can normally keep everything updated.. One I cannot, no matter how I try to reload 2008.
Message says:
Office 2008 SP1 Update (12.1.0) cannot be installed on this disk (I only have my HD). A version of the software required to install this update was not found on this volume.
What do I have to do? is there something I can download as it says it is Urgent!!

Thursday, January 31, 2013 5:22 AM Hello Moetdog, you have posted in the wrong forum. SQL Server > SQL Server Forums> SQL Server Setup & Upgrade . To get an answer quickly I kindly suggest you find the correct forum group.
