Microsoft SQL Server SP3 installation failure

Thursday, February 07, 2013 3:59 PMHi,I am trying to install Microsoft SQL Server SP3 on my windows 8(64 bit), it fails and an error message pops up saying "The current operating System is of X64 architecture, this media is not supported for running on the system".Can anybody provide me with some insights regarding this?I have downloaded this .exe file. :--SQLServer2008SP3-KB2546951-IA64-ENU on my system.If this is not the appropriate file, please provide me with the appropriate link, so that I can get this issue fixed.Thanks in Advance,Sohan

SQLServer2008SP3-KB2546951-x64-ENU.exeIA64 is for Itanium systems.

SQLServer2008SP3-KB2546951-IA64-ENU belongs to
when suffix : x32 : its for 32 bit Server
When suffix is x64 : its for 64 bit Server
when suffix is IA64 : its for IA64 (Intanium)server.
To check you serrver / OS ope my computer and you will get exact details
