Log File Viewer in SSMS 2012

Greetings,
I am trying to find a way to fix an "enhancement" for the "Log File Viewer" in SQL Server 2012 Management Studio. When viewing a log it is most helpful to me to see the latest entries first - however in SQL Server 2012 it starts with the oldest first, at least for SQL Server, it seems that SQL Server Agent was not affected. I have tried looking for a way to set this sort order condition permanently - are there any suggestions?
BTW - I know I can hit the date header to re-sort but this is not the solution I would like.
TIA,
Noral

Odd - mine comes up with newest first (which is what your picture is also showing - judging by the arrow on the Date column)

Thursday, April 12, 2012 7:07 PMWait - just noticed something odd - you're looking at the logfile of a SQL2005 server?

It is the RTM version of SQL 2012 which is v11.0.2100.60 and I have applied CU1 but the version for SSMS did not change. You are correct that this log file is for SQL Server 2005 as I use one version of SSMS to perform basic administration of 2005/2008/2008R2/2012. If I need to do more complex administration or utilize SSIS, SSAS or SSRS I use tools specific to that version of SQL Server usually on that specific SQL Server.

@Noral
It is suggested to use higher version of SSMS like SSMS 2012 to perform basic administration of multiple SQL Server such as 2005/2008/2008R2/2012 because of compatibility.<o:p></o:p>

Peja,
I do not know where you are getting that I am using a lower version of SSMS. As stated above I am using SSMS 2012 for basic administration ;-)
