CCM 2012 licensing questions (SQL part)

Hi,
How should i understand the free SQL licens included with CCM 2012. I know if it runs on the same server as my ccm installion and only host my ccm database - then it should be okay.
But will my SQL server still be free, if I install it on another physical/virtual machine - and still only hosting the CCM database?
Regards

Keep in mind that I’m not a licensing expert, (You will not find any of those here anyways)
Yes it will still be free but my question would be why would you move it? Are you going to have more than 200k of PCs?

I concur with Garth.
Also, keep in mind that I would not use the term "free" as that implies a lot of things. Licensed at no cost is a much better way to phrase it because you still must have a valid license. And, this license for use with System Center products only. You are not allowed to use it for anything else.

The SQL license is included and are still valid if installed on a remote computer.
But since you install it on another computer you'll have to pay for the extra OS license ;)
