Hi Guys,
We have SCE 2007 and we would like to deploy it around our network. I have looked at the System Requirements but I would like to know the following.
Am I able to install SCE on Windows Server 2003 R2 Server within a Windows Server 2008 R2 Domain? I don't want to manage the Servers using SCE I just want to manage the clients Windows XP and Vista. Does anyone have any Suggestion our Managers don't want to spend anymore money this year.

Do you know that SCE 2010 is available? Not much point putting out 2007 these days.

Ok,
I have gorn ahead with the SCE 2007 Install on my Server, and I keep getting an error and the setup fails. I have read the log and I can't find anything wrong except I think an Authication error. But I'm using the Administrator as the user with the same password I used to login to the server. Any Ideas?

Hi,
I found all of those documents before I asked, I tried to get the management to allow me to Purches 2010 but they don't want to spend money if we don't have to. I'm attempting the install currently.
