    Hi there,

    I am after a product like System Center Essentials. Basically I want to monitor server event logs in one place and also push out WSUS updates to servers (under 50) and desktops (over 500).
    I understand Essentials will not help as we have over 500 dekstops. What is then best option for me if I just want to monitor the event logs in one place and also push out and monitor updates easily?

    Hello Matthew,

    As you said, System Center Essentials 2010 is designed for mid-sized organizations (up to 500 PCs and 50 servers).  For a larger environment, Essentials may be not a proper choice. I would suggest System Center 2012 for your consideration.

    With System Center 2012, you get the most cost effective and flexible platform for managing and updating your client computers and devices.
