      Has Code

    Hello,

I have problem with SCE 2007. I receive this event after server restart.

Failed to store data in the Data Warehouse. Exception 'SqlException': Login failed for user 'xxx'.

Which database must have assigned permission for user 'xxx'? Which kind of permission I need for this user?

    I have MSSQL 2005 Standart.

    Thank you very much, Petr

    Hi Nicholas,

    thx for reply.

I mean which databases are created at install SCE (OperationsManager, OperationsManagerDW, etc.) not which database server I can use because I try delete it and reinstall SCE. Sorry for my bad English.

    Hi,

I am sorry for misunderstanding. As far as I know, the following databases are created with System Center Essentials 2007 installation:

    OperationsManager

    OperationsManagerDW

    SUSDB

If you want to keep the data, please see if the backup and restore method is helpful:

    Hi Nicholas,

thank you for your information and link.

Most errors was resolved after reinstall. I have only three errors now:

    - Source: OpsMgr Root Connector; EventID: 28001 Details: The Root connector received an exception from the Config Service on StateSyncRequest

    - Source: Health Service Modules; EventID: 10103 Details: In PerfDataSource, could not find counter WSUS: Client Web Service Methods, Web method calls, _total in Snapshot. Unable to submit Performance value. Module will not be unloaded.

    - Source: Healt Service Modules; EventID: 10103 Details: In PerfDataSource, could not find counter OpsMgr DW Writer Module, Total Error Count, All Instances in Snapshot. Unable to submit Performance value. Module will not be unloaded.

Have you some advice for this event?

    Thank you very much, Petr.

    Hi,

Regarding the Events, please try the following  on the problematic server:

    1.     Clear the HealthService queue:

    1)     Stop System Center Management service.

    2)     Go to C:\Program Files\System Center Essentials\, and rename the “Health Service State” folder.

    3)     Restart System Center Management service.

    2.     Restart the following services:

    System Center Management service

    System Center Management Configuration service

    System Center Data Access service

Meanwhile, if you have not upgraded to System Center Essentials 2007 SP1, please apply the update:

System Center Essentials 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1)
