QuestionA number of servers go to Pending Management with "Agent License Limit Exceeded"

Although we only have 26 servers (with a limit of 31), I cannot install additional agents on servers, as they go to the pending management bucket with the agent license limit exceeded error. I have Essentials 2007 SP1 installed, which according to some docomentation should take care of this problem.

I have rejected and re-installed the agent with the same results.

Does anyone have some ideas for me?

    Hi Joseph,

Could you check to see how many licenses are currently imported in the SCE as specified on the administration space overview page in SCE console? If possible, you can capture a screen shot and send to me.

For your convenience, I have created a workspace for you.  You can upload the information files to the following link.  (Please choose "Send Files to Microsoft")

    Workspace URL: https://sftasia.one.microsoft.com/choosetransfer.aspx?key=349887c6-6256-4778-b2a5-9ba79fbda9d9
    Password: Pyl*2V8P_AM$

Note: Due to differences in text formatting with various email clients, the workspace link above may appear to be broken.  Please be sure to include all text between '(' and ')' when typing or copying the workspace link into your browser.

Also, could you verify which channel did you obtain product? Volume licensing, retail or OEM?

    Thanks.

    Thanks Eric,

I sent the screen shot of the Licenses on the Administrative space. Originally, I downloaded the program from Microsoft for trial, and then we licensed it with Volume licensing and entered the associated code.

    Hi Joe,

I have an additional question, how many servers are in the pending management view?

Also, if the servers in the pending management with currently managed servers are more than 31, then the problem will occur, did you try to add only one server? how about the result?
