System Center Essentials failed to install Virtual Machine Manager on reinstall, now console won't start.

We have been having nothing but problems trying to get System Center Essentials reinstalled on a server. We have slowly made our way forward and finally got it reinstalled and working except for the Virtual Machine Manager component. (Stupidly) We ran the installer again and asked it to add this component to the installation. It failed with the errors below and now the entire SCE console won't even start. We have spent over a week trying to get this reinstalled and are not willing to reformat the entire server just to get the product fixed.
This is the error from the installation script:12:01:11:Loaded Management Pack C:\Program Files\System Center Essentials\Microsoft.SystemCenter.VirtualMachineManager.Pro.2008.Library.mp12:01:11:Management Pack is already imported: C:\Program Files\System Center Essentials\Microsoft.SystemCenter.VirtualMachineManager.Pro.2008.R2.VMRightSize.mp12:01:11:Loaded Management Pack C:\Program Files\System Center Essentials\Microsoft.SystemCenter.VirtualMachineManager.Pro.2008.R2.VMRightSize.mp12:01:11:Management Pack is already imported: C:\Program Files\System Center Essentials\Microsoft.SystemCenter.VirtualMachineManager.Pro.2008.R2.HyperV.HostPerformance.mp12:01:11:Loaded Management Pack C:\Program Files\System Center Essentials\Microsoft.SystemCenter.VirtualMachineManager.Pro.2008.R2.HyperV.HostPerformance.mp12:01:11:InjectDependentAssemblyIntoConfigFile: File C:\Program Files\System Center Essentials\SCVMM 2008\bin\Microsoft.SystemCenter.VirtualMachineManager.dll not found.12:01:11:Running the PostProcessDelegate returned false.12:01:11:Virtualization Management Server - NonVitalFailure.12:01:11:Running the PostProcessDelegate for VM failed.... but this item is not fatal so we will process the other items.12:01:11:POSTINSTALL - Start12:01:11:ApplyQuickFixEngineeringUpdates: There was no pre install data for POSTINSTALL12:01:11:POSTINSTALL - Doing Preinstall task12:01:11:POSTINSTALL - Doing Install task12:01:11:Final Configuration - VitalFailure.12:01:11:Final Configuration - Failed to install. This is the Operations Manager Error in Event Viewer.
An exception was thrown while processing ImportManagementPAck for session id uuid:9581e926-f160-4573-a088-21ce2df5acc9;id=21.

Looking in the SQL DB I can see the other management packs listed in SECURITYESSENTAILS.dbo.ManagementPack table.
There is no option to uninstall the component in Add/Remove Programs, or when I run the installer. How can we manually uninstall Virtual Machine Manager so that we can get this installer to complete correctly?
Thursday, June 14, 2012 7:36 PMOr could someone at least make me a SQL script that can go through and remove all the appropriate entries. I think we already have all the file-system, registry, file shares, and SSL certificates removed that the installer creates.

In this scenario, I would suggest a total uninstallation of the SCE server, and then you can install it from the begining. It's much more easier than reparing the corrupted server.
