How to remove machines in the Unknown Status area: Not Monitored, with no agent installed

Good morning all,
We are running SCE 2010. Under Monitoring -> State and Alerts: I have 11 computers in the Unknown Status section. All computers in Unknown Status are listed as "Not monitored". These systems do not have monitoring agents installed but they may have previously, before my time at the company. How can I remove these systems from being listed as Not monitored?

You can go to the administration pane and delete the entry of the dead agents. For details, you can refer to the following article:

It was written for OpsMgr 2007 SP1, but also works for SCE 2010.
