Hi!
Is Service Pack 1 for SQL Server 2008 R2 supported for SCE 2010? We are looking to upgrade our Sharepoint to version 2013, and it requires SP1 for SQL 2008 R2.
The System Requirements and Supported Platforms for System Center Essentials 2010 page is last updated in 2010 and SP1 for SQL 2008 R2 was released in november 2011.
Thanks for any help.

Hello Hans,
There is not an official statement that SCE 2010 support for SQL Server 2008 R2 SP1.
Just for your information, it does work in my test environment. But you should be very careful in the working environment. Make a backup and recovery plan if the update is necessary.
Thanks,
Yog Li

Hi there!
Thank you very much for taking the time and effort to give me an answer. Did you test this by upgrading the SQL-server in an already up-and-running environment, or did you perform a clean install with SP1 already installed?
Best regards
