I have a question and I hope somebody can help me:
We have DPM 2010 running on an Windows Server 2008 R2.
The Clint a Windows7 x64 does not connect to the DPM-Server.
The Server has the DNS-Name dpm-server.subdomain.domain.de but the Clint wants to connect to dpm-server.domain.de
I found an error in the log of the Clint: ID: 10009 DCOM was unable to exchange data with dpm-server.domain.de using any of the configured protocols.
I tried to set the Server manually by using the tool SetDpmServer.exe but without effecting any changes.
Is there an another way of setting the DPM-Server-address correctly?
What else can I do?
Best regards
