After installation System Center Orchestrator 2012 and System Center Cloud Services Runbooks to the server VMM in the history (in SCSM) of performing Runbook "Create Virtual Machine Manager User Role Runbook Activity " appears in the following entry: LongText2 <jobs Error="You cannot contact the VMM management server. The credentials provided have insufficient priviliges on vmm2012.tech.inc. (Error ID:1605)

Ensure that your account has access to the VMM management server vmm2012.tech.inc, and then try the operation again."/>
On behalf of the account TECH\sa_scvmm2012_svc working service VMM2012 (System Center Virtual Machine Manager) and the account has administrative rights on the server VMM2012. I tried use the account, which is part of the Administrators group VMM2012 and Domain Admins with the same result: LongText2 <jobs Error="You cannot contact the VMM management server. The credentials provided have insufficient priviliges on vmm2012.tech.inc. (Error ID:1605)

Ensure that your account has access to the VMM management server vmm2012.tech.inc, and then try the operation again."/>
Help, please!

Hi Alex,
Try add SCO service account into VMM local administrator group. Then, add the SCO service account as the administrator right in the VMM.
Besides that, make sure the SCO service account is added into the OrchestratorUsersGroup (in the SCO VM-Local Group). Let me know if this work

Hello,
I have exactly the same problem! The SCO service account is local administrator of VMM, i use the same account as service account of SCO, VMM, SCSM in Lab.
The solution given by laiys solved your problem?
Thank you.

Hi All,
I have faced the same issue, It is not related with Permissions.
Permissions is already there for scsm-workflow account in scvmm, sql, scsm console, in local admins of All Servers, in SCOM as well.
SCSM-workflow is already member of SCSM-admins group in Active directory.
Mostly, people choose mark as completed in SCSM console for Approval of request which is wrong process.
For user role creation, scsm workflow and orcehstrator runbook is looking for Cloud created in SCVMM.
So, choose Assign Cloud Resources option and follow some steps and then choose mark as completed.
Pre-requissite :-> SCVMM,SCOM,Orchestrator and AD connector in SCSM management console and follow the process suggested in mentioned link.
