Upgrade to SP1 successful but several errors/issues

Hello everyone,
I ran through the SP1 upgrade path tonight in our production environment of SCSM 2012 RTM after having done so in my lab environment prior with no issues.
I installed Update Rollup 2 as instructed to do so, first on the DW server and then on the management server. Tested to make sure nothing was broken and everything seemed to be fine. I then installed the SQL 2012 AMO's on both boxes and rebooted them both. Afterwards I proceeded with the SP1 upgrade on the DW server and when that finished successfully I installed the SQL 2012 Native Client on the management server and then upgraded it to SP1 as well.. no errors.
The SSP was my first indication something was wrong, the page loads and so does the silverlight web part, I see the 'Category View' and 'List view' buttons and the 'Create a Request' button as well, but at the very bottom of that webpart is an error that reads:
"[Arg_TargetInvocationException]\nArguments: \nDebugging resource strings are unavailable. Often the key and arguments provide sufficient information to diagnose the problem."
Furthermore, clicking the Submit a request button loads a blank page with only the same error displaying at the bottom, aka not our service catalog as it should.Digging through the event logs on the DW server, I see several different errors.. It seems like the upgrade wiped all of my service accounts permissions to the databases they need to access. please help me sort through this issue and get my environment back functional. The errors are as follows:
Event ID 0: SSRS (MSSQLSERVER) : Failed to unload app domain DefaultDomain. The following exception occured: Error while unloading appdomain.
Event ID 3224: Lfx Service : Cannot open database "DWStagingandConfig" requested by the login. The login failed. Login failed for user '<my domain>\<my service account>' .
Event ID 3324: Lfx Service: Just shows the name of my DW management group. The details pane shows a similar login failed for my service account to DWStagingandConfig.
Event ID 3334: Lfx Service : Several different logs here. 1 that keeps repeating is it keeps saying "Error importing solutions" for the same 5 management packs and saying they are already imported. Another that says the Data Access Service is not running or not yet initialized which it is on both servers. Then lastly another one that says 'Error creating service group... Could not connect to net.tcp://localhost:5724/DispatcherService. The connection attempt lasted for a time span of 00:00:02.0310810. TCP error code 10061: No connection could be made because the target machine active refused it 127.0.0.1:5724.
I'm stumped at this point, i see all of my logins in SQL and their permissions seem to be unchanged.
Another interesting fact I may note is after using this article to help troubleshoot: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh524327.aspx . All of the cmdlets run fine except for Extract_<SM Management Group> It blows up with "An object of class ManagementPackRule with ID 09268c84-6253-904d-de6e-ebb010909e01 was not found." Fully QualifiedErrorID: Unable to set state on job Extract_SM_Admins.
Please help, it is much appreciated.

Wow.
After hours and hours of reading logs and troubleshooting.. come to find out the DW registration was hosed, all is solved by unregistering the management server with the DW, and then reregistering. All of the DW jobs started working normally once again and the page is operational.
