Is there a way to open a Change Resquest using Self-Service Portal in SCSM 2012? How can I do that?

Out of the box you can only view your incidents requests, service requests and associated activities work items in the Self Service Portal.
If you want to view Change Requests you have to go on the customization trail.

As discussed in other forums, Travis informed that it is not possible to open CR from portal in version 2012. Can be done with Exchange Connector though.

As mentioned by Travis and others CR creation is not supported from portal in 2012. We are trying to get this in SP1.
