    Hello,

We have SEC2010 in our windows 2008 and Win 7/xp envt. All looks fine and I have default settings to "UNAPPROVED UPDATES"

Today I pushed a single update to a test Win7 PC and after the install it pops up warning on Win 7 that your system will reboot in 15 mins with no option to postpone or cancel.

I confirmed, we have GPO applied which says "NoAutoRebootWithLoggedOnUsers" to 1

    Any Suggestion?

    Thanks

    Hello,

You need to set Configure Automatic Updates to "4 -  Auto download and schedule the install" before "NoAutoRebootWithLoggedOnUsers" can work.

Please read the followig thread for details:

    Hello,

Make sure the proper settings are included in the SCE Managed Computers <management groupname> group policy object. And make sure the agent was restarted to get the proper GPO applied.

By the way, I would suggest unchecking "Give me recommended updates the same way I receive important updates", if you want to publish any update to 'Add/Remove Programs'.

    Thanks,

    Hi,

I used to have problems with the reboots, too. Just disable the automatic Windows Updates and do your updates with WuInstall It is a very handy tool for managing updates and you can define if you want your system to reboot, or not.

    I hope this helps
