    Hi,  I'm currently testing’s SCE and have been trying to setup WSUS on the same server. 

    Could someone tell me if it's possible to setup WSUS to manage non SCE clients as they seem to be connecting to the server but after a little while they disappear.  The SCE clients show up in the WSUS console ok and don't seem to be removed.  Sometimes they seem to last around a day other times only a couple of minutes.

    After some testing I've configured the SCE clients to use port 8531 for their updates and reporting and the non SCE clients to not use any port.

     

    Any help would be appreciated

    It is not recommended that you use a SCE server to supply WSUS updates to unmanaged computers. You can do a lot of damage to your SCE installation from the WSUS console. Installing a second WSUS server on your domain for unmanaged computers is recommended.
