Forefront Updates are not available since 3rd Aug through WSUS but they are available on security portal..
- Hi,
We are using SCE 2007 with SP1 and we are not receiving forefront updates since 3rd August. We tried on our desktop computers to " Check online for updates from Microsoft Update " but so far no luck to get it. We are downloading them from security portal (http://www.microsoft.com/security/portal ) website and then creating update on sce from that package ad pushing it to clients but it's too slow in deployment as compared to what we gets in our SCE server directly from MS.
Is it known issue ..?

I didn't here any known issue about the Forefront updates.
Could you tell us which uodates that SCE server didn't receive? Are these updates available at the Microsoft Updates Web site? If not, they cannot be synchronized to the SCE server.

SCE is not getting updates for only ForeFront Security..I have also checked that SCE is configured to get updates for Forefront Clinet Security. These updates are not available on Microsoft Updates Websites but they are available on http://www.microsoft.com/security/portal . They are still not available through MS Updates.
We tried to check updates on clients with MS Updates Website still not getting it and now it's one week since last forefront update available through MS Updates Website..

All the updates on the SCE server can only be synchronized with the Microsoft Updates Website. It cannot receive any update from the security portal.
Please wait several days more and see if the updates will be published on the Microsoft Updates Website.
