You don't have this view in SCE:-( This was something I was requestion during beta but it didn't make it to RTM. I really hope they add it in the next release.
PS! You can still open WSUS console to get this info
During the Configure Microsoft Updates settings wizard you select which products you want to see updates for based on the products used on your network. You can run this wizard any time from the Actions area of the Updates window.
Tim - thanks for replying but not quite what I was looking for. I am looking for a way to filter the updates that are already downloaded to show which ones are needed. In WSUS 3.0 you could configure (filter) the Updates view pane to show what updates were needed and then drill down to see what computers needed them. In SCE 2007 under Updates I cannot find a way to look at just the updates that are needed and under Reporting/Essentials Reports/Update Deployment Report 'Needed' is not one of the deployment status options. Wish I had a screen shot of the WSUS 3.0 view I am talking about because it would be a lot easier to see what I was looking for.
