    how would one get a blog site on technet/msdn to blog about ms LYNC, Exchange and Forefront?

    Sorry, only Microsoft employees can start their own blogs on MSDN or TechNet.

    Hi Mike,

    That's not right, i have seen people doing blogging on Technet and MSDN and they are not Microsoft Employee.
    I saw the option once, but i am not able to find it now :(

    I dont work on the blogs directly Gulab, but I'm pretty sure that's the current policy.  If you want to double check yourself, fill out a site feedback form on the blogs homepage http://blogs.msdn.com, and enquire about it.    Either they'll correct me and point you to the location, or clarify the policy.

    Hello Mike,

    I saw it once that you can write blog on TechNet i know that MS won't make the site public for everyone, they will keep it for there employees only.
    You being Moderator can you guide me to the page for TechNet not MSDN to write a blog.

    Again I dont work on the blogs directly Gulab.  Sorry I didn't realize you were specifically speaking about TN blogs.  You can ask them via the site feedback link on the TN blogs page here: http://blogs.technet.com.

    It is true that cannot create a blog, but if what you want is to publish useful information to other persons you can do it in

    Mike's right. Non-MS folks cannot create a blog on TechNet.

    As per this FAQ - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-US/ff395928.aspx#How_do_I_earn_points

    General audience can also write the blogs and earn the points on rating. If it is not the case anymore, someone should update the FAQ.
