I am going to setup Windows 7 (64-Bit) on 2 Desktops & 1 Laptop on my home network.
I have a Central Axis NAS connected. I would like to be able to use roaming profiles on the PC's and have the Home location of the profiles on the NAS. I know the Laptop will have to keep a temporary profile on it until it can reconnect to my network.
I currently have no roaming profiles setup yet on any PC.

Has anyone attempted anything like this?

Sorry for the Dumb Question. To Clarify...

I want the User Docs, Favorites, App Data and such files that are under the C:\Users\USERNAME to be located on a NAS.
And then be able to have ALL PC's point to that NAS Directory when authenticating on the local machine.
I.E. Every Machine would have the same users defined on each of them (Security Levels as well), and there User Data would always point to the same NAS Directory, regardless of the PC used.
This would ensure that all of the User Data would be centally located, and could easly be backed-up. Also, regardless of PC, you would have the same settings.

I do not know if this "Profile Lite" config will work without Windows Server.
