问题 Enable SCVMM OM Agent Proxy ? (same server as SCOM)

I have SCOM and SCVMM installed on the same server.

SCVMM has System Center Settings pointing to the Operations Manager Server of its self.

SCOM is reporting an error in that the SCVMM agent is not configured to proxy monitor.
SCVMM does not show up under the Agent Managed node as it is the SCOM server.
The server instance of the SCOM server does have its Agent configured to act as a proxy.

Is this just a flaw in the SCOM logic and it can be ignored?
Am I at risk of future problems if I leave it  be?
Can I force the error X to a green check mark on this issue?

    Hi,

Try to see if the SCVMM server on SCOM appears under the Pending Management. If yes approve the SCVMM server.

Then you have to enable the agent proxy on the SCVMM server. To do that just go:

    1) Navigate to Administration>Device Management>Agent Managed

    2) Right click on the SCVMM server> Properties

    3) Under Security tab, check the option "Allow this agent to act as a proxy and discover managed objects on other computers"

    4) Click OK or Apply.
