Hi,
How to get the list of all the services running on a hyper v Virtual machine (can be Windows or Linux). Or how to handle an event when a service is stopped inside a VM.
Any suggestions appreciated.

Hi,
The ultime microsoft product for monitor this (and huge other thinks) is System Center Operations Manager.
We are actually in SCOM 2007 R2 versions and in RC for SCOM 2012.
You can download it via the microsoft site and try it. It's huge and powerfull.
You can even, for example trigger reactive actions like restarting a failed service.
