We are having a problem with the VMM2012 and OpsMgr 2012 integration. Both systems have a single MS and have been updated from the previous version.
When we set up the connection in VMM the following error is displayed after a few seconds:
VMM Management group object cannot be found.
One or more of the Virtual Machine Manager objects monitored by Operations Manager could not be discovered. This might be caused by a missing or outdated version of the System Center Virtual Machine Manager management pack in Operations Manager.- The OpsMgr Agent is running on the VMM MS
- The MPs are all imported
- We already cleared the health state of the agent and tried a repair install
- The account used is administrator in both systems and local admin on SCVMM
We have one warning in OpsMgr regarding the SCVMM MS:
The process started at 11:33:26 AM failed to create System.PropertyBagData.
Errors found in output:
C:\Program Files\System Center Operations
Manager\Agent\Health Service State\Monitoring Host Temporary Files
1123\3445\HotFixValidation.vbs(117, 10) Microsoft VBScript runtime error:
Subscript out of range: 'count'When we run the PRO test in the OpsMgr connector on SCVMM it fails after while with the following error message:
Error (25921)
Failed to create diagnostics PRO tipRecommended Action
Check if Operations Manager Agent is running on the computer running VMM management server and that it is monitored.Does anyone have an idea what else we can check or how to fix this.
Thank you
Sascha

Can you try disabling "Enable PRO " checkbox and see if the integration is successful ? If yes, then its a known bug in RTM.

Wednesday, April 25, 2012 8:30 PMthank you, it seems that got rid of the error message. Any thing I can do to make it work with PRO or just wait for an update?

Thursday, April 26, 2012 6:37 PMI'm having the same issue. disabling the "Enable PRO' checkbox resolved the error message for me as well. Somehow it works in my test environment OK, but I cannot get it working in production for the life of me. Any news on an update for this?
