V2V VMware ESX 4.0 to Hyper-V 2008 R2 SP1 using SCVMM 2012 RC?

I have set up and connected a Hyper-V Server 2008 R2 SP1 Cluster in SCVMM 2012 RC
I have also set up and connected a vCenter Server and ESX 4.0 host
I want to convert and migrate some VMware VMs to Hyper-V and am trying to use the "Convert Virtual Machine to Virtual Machine" option
I select the host VMware VM that I want to convert, but when I try to select a target Hyper-V host to send the conversion to, I am unable to select one, the ratings for all the Hyper-V destinations all have 0 stars with a rating explanation of "No connection to logical network vSwitch1 with sufficient resources could be found."
Has anyone done this successfully? I have a feeling it has to do with how I have the logical networks configured, but I thought I had them configured properly.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions/help
Regards,
Joel

You need to configure a Logical Network on your ESX Host Network Adapter with a VLan the same as the Port Group the VM is connected to. For what I can tell, you are not using VLANs. So just configure a Logical Network on your ESX host network adapter. Then go to your VM properties and change the Logical NEtwork to the newly configuredd logical Network. The destination host must have a hostnetworkadapter configured with the same logical network, then placement should give u the right rating. let me know if you need more detailed steps aor calrification on any of them Cheers! -- alex
