    When I attempt to create a new VMware VM from a blank disk, the Configure Settings page where I want to specify a shared storage lun only shows the local drive as an available virtual machine path. I went back to specify that the VM should be highly availble but the Select Host gives off a warning that any of the clustered esx hosts I select report back that they are not highly available. Is this by design or an RC bug?

    #protip Apparently VMM 2012 does not consider a vSphere cluster as an HA target unless HA is turned on for the cluster.
