Unanswered Virtual Server 2005 R2 - Network Adapter won't set

    I have an old set of vm's I have to run within VS 2005 R2 SP1.  When I attempt to modify the network adapter from "Internal Network" to "External Network" or "Not Connected" it won't set.  Obviously I must have something un or misconfigured.

    Any ideas on how I can't get my guests to accept a change in network settings?

    Have you tried creating a new VM and just attaching your VHDs?

    If you create a new VM, can you select "external network"?
