Two points:
1. You can not do a downgrade. Although you can install Windows XP
(but see below) you have to do a clean installation, not a downgrade.2. If yours is a recent OEM computer (especially if it's a laptop) be
aware that you may have an issue getting Windows XP drivers for some
hardware components. Before doing anything else, check with the
computer's manufacturer to much sure the drivers you will need exist.

this.WinXP 64-bit has a very limited hardware and software support. It can't
be compared with Win7 64-bit and with WinXP 32-bit in this area. And as it does not come with WinXP-mode, you need an external
virtualization software, to be able to run all programs, which are not
compatible with WinXP(64) and that's quite a lot.

THE EMPASIS YOU HAVE GIVEN IS MORE ABOUT LEGALALITY OF THE OS NOT HOW TO SOLVE THE PROBLEM ? TRY MORE TO HELP OTHER PEOPLE BY GIVING
EXACT ANSWER ALONG WITH YOUR LEGAL POINT OF VIEW. ABOUT DRIVER SOFTWARE AVAILABILTY PLEASE LET THEM TRY ? WHO SAID 256 KG IS OUGHT ENOUGH TO RUN ANY COMPUTER IN THESE WORLD. IF SOMEONE DONNOT CONNECT KEYBOARD WHICH OS SAY PRESS F1 TO CONTINUE? SO WHAT ABOUT LEGAL IN THIS POINT, AUTHENTIFICATION CODE IS NECESSARY ? END USER LICENCE IS NEEDED TO CONNECT THE FORGOTTEN PS 2 KEYBOARD .
SO IWANT MOCROSOFT PEOPLE A LITTLE MORE PRACTICAL INSTEAD OF BEATING THE BUSH.
THANKS
