    I don’t know about the best, but an excellent free data recovery program is Recuva. If you haven’t had too much disk updating since deleting files, there is a good chance that most deleted files can be recovered.

    Download the free program from here http://www.filehippo.com/download_recuva/ When downloading be aware of any ‘foistware’ that is offered.

    To attempt to recover every deleted file, select a drive in the drop-down menu and click Scan to list everything > tick Filename and click Recover to.

    There are bunch of data recovery software, both free and paid you can try with but I'd recommend to go with only professional software as it can efficiently recover your crucial data from list of data loss situations without modifying or altering the actual quality.

    P.S. Avoid using the drive or saving any data as it can make deleted data overwritten and none of any data recovery software would going to help you.
