I really didn't think through my needs when I bought my Acer Iconia W700 tablet. I need to have access to files on my PC with Windows 7 from my tablet with Windows 8. I went to set up a home network on my pc and discovered I already have one. It gave me a password for this homegroup. I then went to my tablet to sync them and discovered, I already have a Home Group there with a different password. How to I delete one and add it to the other?
Also anyone know how to set up remote access of my PC FROM my tablet? I need to be able to access info on my PC at home when I am at work or at a conference.

Hi,
You can try to leave the current homegroup and try to join the one you want.
To leave a homegroup:
1. Open HomeGroup by swiping in from the right edge of the screen, tapping Settings (or if you're using a mouse, pointing to the upper-right corner of the screen, moving the mouse pointer down, and then clicking Settings), tapping or clicking Change PC settings, and then tapping or clicking HomeGroup.2. Tap or click Leave.
To remote a computer, I suggest you refer the steps in the following article:(Please note the edition of computer that allowed to be connected)
Remote Desktop Connection: Frequently asked questionshttp://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-8/remote-desktop-connection-frequently-asked-questions
In addition, about Windows 8 questions, you can post it in Windows 8 IT Pro forum.
More information about homegroup, you can refer to the following:

Hope this helps.
