Why does my PC keep asking me to install updates to netframework 4 then - after I have (eventually) got them and reboot - it asks for the same updates again... and again ?

I have installed Family Tree Maker - which includes Netframework 4 updates - but Win 7 64 bit doesn't appear to recognise this fact ..... ??

I have removed the update from the list - but is this acceptable security-wise ?
