    After Platform update for windows 7 x 64-edition KB2670838 was downloaded and installed my computer is causing my hearing aids to squeal very loudly.  what should I do...uninstall????

    Apparently this update is for developers.  See info @ http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2670838 and @ http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/windows/apps/jj863687.aspx

    It seems you would need to post in one of the MSDN forums for better assistance.

    If you are not a program developer, then just uninstall this update.

    You can check whether uninstall this one could resolve this issue.

    In addition, perform a system restore before install KB2670838 to see how it works.
