    I just started the analysis phase of another windows 7 deployment project.

    this is the first time I'll be using ACT 6

    previously on the 5.6, when I created a data collector package, I could check a duration for the monitoring and had the possibility to select some/all compatibility evaluators.  I do not see those options any longer when creating the collector package in ACT 6?

    the deployed collector package seems to work, but how long will it collect now?

    Hi,


    As far as I know, the latest version of Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit for Windows 7 is version 5.6. And the 6.0 version is included in Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) for Windows 8. You can still use 5.6 to create a data collector package. In addition, the one you created should be able to use with ACT6.


    Also, you can try to create again in ACT 6 to test the result again.

    everything seemed to work ok with the data collection from ACT 6, despite not having the option of determining how long it should be running

    I have the impression that the collector only ran once, but hey I have handed the reports to the customer already
