Unanswered Windows 7 and Access 2002 Runtime

Has anyone installed the Access 2002 Runtime on a Windows 7 PC?  We've installed it successfully (also installed the full version of Access 2002 on another machine), however when launching our existing Access 2002 Data Project (ADP) the experience has been poor.  i.e. slow to open the ADP in Access 2002 (Runtime or Full) and it's also slow to close the application.

Once the ADP is open the application performs as expected when opening/interacting with various screens which access data from a SQL Database Server.

Well not access 2002 - but Access 2005 - The performance improved for the matter of fact.

Did you mean Access 2003 or Access 2007?  Our database back-end is SQL Server 2005 64-bit.

I have the same question: Access 2002 using windows 7, office 2010. The 2002 file opens and appears to function properly after unchecking a "missing" reference to xp. The error is <owc10.dll>.

Given the appearance everything is functioning, is there a known issue?
