Please run a full virus scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (malwarebytes.org) and see if that picks up anything.

    Hi NatzGS,

Looks like your machine is infected with malware. It is not a Windows 7 Application compatibility issue. Reinstalling Windows 7 should resolve your issue. However you can search for "Sowar? PagSureOy!!! Guba gyud nang PC nimo!” keyword in the registry.

Interestingly I found one discussion similar to your issue in the below link, but you can try this at your own risk.

    I hope this helps.
    Thanks,

    Hi Joelbx,

Thanks a lot. I tried your recommendation and it worked. Regedit and task manager is now back and running. However, the unwanted entry on the IE8 title bar is still there. FYI when this thing occured IE8 default page wass a ____ sit named red tube. May this will help to find ways to get rid of this annoying "Sowar? PagSureOy!!! Guba gyud nang PC nimo!" thing that attaches it self to the title bar.

Hi Bineesh.. sorry.. it took quite sometime to reply. anyway your suggestion/recommendation was very helpful. but there are some draw back. some of my files have become off limits. I could no longer acces them or make any changes. there's that ominous prompt "access denied" how is that? I tried scanning using antivirus/malware sofware but no sign of infections. its just am being denied access. i don not know why can you help me? thanks....

If you are the administrator try -right click- run as administrator

If it is wierd enough and hasn't gone away why don't you try using the advice you have been given?

    Reinstall windows.....

I would try extended memory tests as well because a few viruses will sit in upper memory blocks and just reinfest the hard drive.

bottom line if you have lost files and have no backups, how much time can you put into trying to recover them, knowing that any work you do on that machine is at risk of the same thing happening.

    Hi NatzGS,

So do reinstall of Windows 7 once again and keep the UAC level as recommended by Microsoft (Click on start menu type "UAC" press Enter). Avoid clicking on "Yes" while prompting UAC for Untrusted Installers, Applications, Websites. It will prevent affecting malware on Operating System.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks,
    Bineesh
