Gta 4 installation causes blue screen during installation after updating to direct x 11.
-
Sunday, February 03, 2013 12:25 AMI recently updated to directx11. I play GTA 4 and after the update it worked correctly. I usually mod the game and I have reinstalled it several times before. But after updating to directx 11, when I tried to reinstall, there is one part of the installation where it installs directx. I got a blue screen. After that I started getting random blue screens when I use my computer. I want to go back to direct x 9. Can somebody help me?

Hi,
I would recommend you perform a system restore and go back to the prior status.
Run DirectX diagnostic tool. Follow this:

DirectX 11 is the default installed version in Windows 7. There is no way to revert back to DirectX 9.
