Office XP doesnt work.I tried installing office XP many times in administrator mode as well.

I cant get it to work.

After installation, when i try to start the office applications, it prompts me for installation CD. This should not happen. Even if I give it the CD, it tries to load but never fully loads and ends up doing nothing.

If I start internet explorer, I get prompt for the installation of Office XP also. And then the windows flashes very fast continually as if its opening and closing extra windows.

BTW I have upgraded to Office XP service pack 3 also to no avail.

Please advise.

EDIT: I would post pictures but I dont know where to upload.© 2009 Microsoft Corporation.
