Answered Cant Log In to Certain Websites

    When ever i try to log in to certain websites for example Yahoo or my bill sites, the log inscreen will load, but when i put in my user name and pw and hit log in it freezes. The program becomes unresponsive. 

    I have tried:

    Using Google Chrome.

    Deleting Cookies, Temp Internet Files, etc.

    I have Defaulted my browser settings.

    I made sure shockwave and flashplayer up to date.

    When I tried using no addons. When i put in my info and nothing happens when i hit log on.

    It Works on my wifes computer. I have even reinstalled Windows and its still not working properly. I made sure that the settings in the security and Advance tabs match my wifes.

    Im using Windows 7Prof.  With I.E. 9.

    Have you tried using firefox?

    If firefox gives the same result then I would try creating another local account on your machine and see if you get the same error.

    Sounds like Java, ensure Java is up to date.

    I haven't had any problems with it. If you’re worried about security make sure you have AV installed, updated and running regular scans.

    You can continue to use Firefox as an alternative browser if you would prefer not to use Java.

    A lot of banking websites depend on java - you would be surprised!
