Hi, the strangest thing has happened.

Windows 7 is not allowing me to use links within the "Windows Help and Support". I click on the links to send me to the windows help page within the help popup and NOTHING....

I also have several programs, Zbrush and Punch Home and landscape. Both programs activate via a web popup to a site where you need to fill in your codes... however Windows is not allowing these in-program web activation pages to open up the webpage needed (as my above situation with Windows help)

Now, I know it worked before because I've web-activated my older Zbrush software on my laptop, but something has recently changed in windows to not allow the pop-up to occur.

I'm also using Avast but I disable it and still I'm not getting links to work, I also use "Run as Administrator", and that does not solve it. What happened and how do I fix it?

    Figured it out...

I had installed firefox a while back and did not set it as default... in fact neither Explorer or Firefox were default.

So switching explorer to "default" suddenly my Help file links work and so does any web activation popup that your software prompts.

I hope this helps anyone in the same situation :) (Relief!)
