    Hi Microsoft 7 testers,

I've been testing the Beta all afternoon now with only a few issues, it looks really good so far, but I now have a new problem...
When I now turn on my PC, I get to the log on screen with no problems, but then, once I have entered my password and hit enter, it says it is logging on, and the icon keeps working, but nothing happens, and I now cannot log on to my PC.

I tried booting up in Safe Mode, and I could log on, at which point it told me that the System Events Notification Service wasn't working and this may be the problem, though it will not let me turn this on in safe mode!

Any ideas? Any help will be much appreciated, needless to say! I've really enjoyed using this Beta up until now!

    Hey,

Can you try logging in using Safe Mode and create a new user account there? Then see if you can restart and logon using the new user account?

If this doesn't work, try checking event viewer and see why is System Events Notification Service failed to run.

Thanks, I actually had already tried the second account idea, but that too seemed to result to nothing I'm afraid.
I've left this issue as unresolved, and have reinstalled the Beta OS - everything seems to be working fine now, I just hope I don't encounter the same issue again!
