This is the issue: When you use the tool to administer Active Directory and look for a user account and click Properties , the tab of Dial-in is missing, the others tabs are present like Group Membership, Account, Environment and so on, but Dial-in I dont know what happend with this. When I have Windows Vista I can use the Active Directory and access this tab of Dial-in. Any suggestions will be welcome, meanwhile when I need to access Dial-in I used Remote Desktop to connect to the server and check-out the permission.Thu, 28 May 2009 17:21:19 Z2009-05-28T17:21:19Zhttp://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itprogeneral/thread/7e7b1220-375c-49c2-8deb-6f8c035ef54c#9ad135ab-1eb0-4ebc-bcce-ca3a1d839e02http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itprogeneral/thread/7e7b1220-375c-49c2-8deb-6f8c035ef54c#9ad135ab-1eb0-4ebc-bcce-ca3a1d839e02KHemmelmanhttp://social.technet.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=KHemmelmanRSAT for Windows 7 Now Available
I wonder if I've missed a configuration option or if perhaps there is a tweak(s) I can perform in Windows 7 to get the Active Directory Users and Computers to have the same functionality as the one we run under Windows XP?

I know there have been many comments about missing tabs in the RSAT and those missing tabs seem to continue to be missing in Windows 7. Under Vista, there was some 'hack' you could perform to get some files from a 2008 server and register some files, etc. to get this functionality back, but that doesn't appear to work under Windows 7.

Currently the below tabs are missing.

For computers:
- Dial-in

For users:
- Dial-in
- Terminal Services Profile

We use the Dial-in and Terminal Services Profile tabs on a daily basis. Is there a way to get these tabs to show up in the ADUC of Windows 7 RSAT? If not, then I'm thinking it pretty much means we have to continue using a Windows XP workstation to run ADUC.

Thank you.

Keith Hemmelman
Tue, 09 Jun 2009 18:35:50 Z2009-06-09T18:35:50Zhttp://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itprogeneral/thread/7e7b1220-375c-49c2-8deb-6f8c035ef54c#08b786d0-ded5-47cf-8c83-ac9616451df8http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itprogeneral/thread/7e7b1220-375c-49c2-8deb-6f8c035ef54c#08b786d0-ded5-47cf-8c83-ac9616451df8harbeyhttp://social.technet.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=harbeyRSAT for Windows 7 Now Available

Did you ever get this figured out? I need to get the Dial-In tab to appear also.Wed, 12 Aug 2009 15:08:01 Z2009-08-12T15:08:01Zhttp://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itprogeneral/thread/7e7b1220-375c-49c2-8deb-6f8c035ef54c#d05f298e-ea46-461c-9966-60232e388e53http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itprogeneral/thread/7e7b1220-375c-49c2-8deb-6f8c035ef54c#d05f298e-ea46-461c-9966-60232e388e53Aldalinhttp://social.technet.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=AldalinRSAT for Windows 7 Now AvailableWas this removed?
