    i did a system repair which could not repair my system,system file integrity check failed error code =0x490.can any one please help me,i dont really know alot about computers  kind regards jill .

    Hi Littlestarr,

    This issue is cauased by system files corrupted, you can try to restore the computer to a earily backup point to troubleshoot this issue. If the issue still persists, it is recommended to do a in-place upgrade to resolve this issue.

    hi Jill,

    would be a help if you could provide some information or specs about the computer in question.  also, is this a retail version of Windows 7, an evaluation copy, or beta do you know, was it downloaded or do you have an original MS disk?
