Renable IE9 download....

Hello all,
My department decided a while ago that they didn't want IE9 to be downloaded, so it employed the toolkit to disable the automatic delivery of IE9. We have now decided to go with IE9 and I need a way to remove this without having to rebuild my image. Does anyone know how to reverse it?

That toolkit creates a registry entry in the path below. Just modify the key "DoNotAllowIE90" to 0 or delete it entirely through GPO or other means.
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\9.0

Friday, January 18, 2013 5:23 PMThanks for the quick response, unfortunately, it doesn't look like thats how they stopped the upgrade process. I know for a fact that as part of the domain policies, IE isn't allowed to upgrade from 8 to 9. We don't have WSUS setup, so I know it's a policy somewhere, but I have a PC I am trying to upgrade that isn't part of the domain. Our image was joined when in Audit mode, but unjoined when we sysprepped the image. ANy addational thoughts would be appreciated!

Saturday, January 19, 2013 6:08 PMYou said it was a toolkit used to stop it and thats exactly the resolution i gave......now it was stopped another way? Explain and let us know which one it is as i am completely confused by this flip flop.

Hey again. Looks like I screwed up when I said what the problem was. Apparently, my team disabled it via GP; computer config/admin templates/windows components/win update/automatic updates blockers v3/ do not allow delivery of IE9 through automatic updates. I have tried to download the IE9 installed but I am unable to install it. The error message I get is: Internet Explorer 9 could not complete installing. Please try using the troubleshoot tool to resolve the issue.
The computer is currently off the domain but, when it was in audit mode, it connected to the domain but removed before it was syspreped captured. I have checked the local policy settings but I was unable to find anything in there that would prevent me from installing this. Any additional assistance you can provide would be very appreciated.

Wednesday, January 23, 2013 6:10 PMUpdate: No later do I check what I thought to be everything, when I start (in reverse) to go through every key in the IE registry hive. Lo and behold, the key Chris spoke of is there, but under the HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Setup\9.0 directory. I have deleted the key and it is working now.
