I just realized that all MS Office likst MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint missing run as administrator onmy Win 7 machine.

I would like to know is it normal? Does it mean thatMS Office always get administrator rights every time run the application or the system does not allow user to use run as administrator?

All other program has run as administrator when I right click on start menu.

Your information and help is great appreciated,

    regards,

    Sourises,

I do not think that your Office installation is missing anything. How exactly did you arrive at this conclusion? Please post full details.

Thanks for the message and helping,

Yes, I think that MS Office does not missing anything.

The only thing is that it does not behavior like othe application when I right click on the start menu.

I click on Start --> Right click on internet Explorer it has run as administrator option to run as administrator.

MS Word, MS Excel and MS Powerpoint does not hae run as administrator option when I right click on the start menu.

I just wanted to know is it MS Office does not provide administraor rights or it always has administrator rights.

I use Win 7 and MS Office 2012.

Thanks again for the message and help,

    Regards,

This type of shortcut never has the "Run as Administrator" option. If you need it then you should right-click excel.exe (for example) and send it to the Desktop, thus creating a new shortcut.
