How to Get Recent Selected Updates for Win 7 with correct Genuine Validation Tool ?

Selected Windows 7 Updates require Windows Genuine Software Validation-Fair. But Updates Validation Tool is completely out of Date and then sends a message "Use Latest Tool ". When you try and find for Win 7 64 (or any other Win 7) you get a 1999 XP Validation download. Crap.
I like many other Windows users do not need all 'Updates'
Trying to find simple support from Microsoft is a nightmare !! . It is an absolute maze of Sites of How To's that just seem to be repeats in different Shop Windows.

You need to go back to the Download page using Internet Explorer
(32-bit) - MS has currently managed to break validation for all other
browsers and methods.Noel Paton | Nil Carborundum Illegitemi | CrashFixPC | The Three-toed Sloth

Thank You.
How the hell is a User supposed to find that out. Google Chrome main Browser.
I will try this out on Standard IE 9 32-bit.
Very Helpful and rapid response.

It used to work fine on Chrome - and then MS broke something in the rush to get everything sorted out for Win8.
They don't appear to be in a hurry to fix it :(
