    Windows 7 Ultimate x64

    Go to Control Panel \ Programs and Features and you get a list of everything that is installed on the machine.  Click on Turn Windows features on or off and you get a snapshot of all of the Windows features and which ones have been installed/enabled on the machine.

    Is there a way to export those lists?

    I want to create a Windows 8 machine with everything that I currently have on my main Windows 7 machine.  I would like to have a list of all of the products (third party and Microsoft) installed/enabled on the Windows 7 machine.  How, besides taking screen shots, can I do that?

    I had forgotten about pstools.  (BTW, the page you linked to says it is version 1.77 but the download is actually 2.44.)

    There are some differences between what pstools shows and what Programs and Features shows.  But I think there is enough in pstools' output that I can just add what it missed.

    Pstools does get a bit confused:

    This requires an internet connection while it is running.  According to the description you cannot download it and run it offline.  That implies that it is calling home.
