No native resolution [1920x1200] on Soyo Topaz S [DYLM24D6] with x300/HD4850, RC x86-64Using a variety of ATI driver versions, 8.9, 8.12, 9.3 and 9.6. I have tried using Stephen Cleary's inf file for this monitor, but it doesn't work in Windows 7 x64 [however the same inf works for Vista x64!!!]. Actually I had the native resolution working with the RC build for a while, until all of a sudden, after booting into desktop the screen was at a 1024 resolution one day and no matter what I did, including reinstalling windows, I could not get native resolution back.

Stephen Cleary's .inf can be found here: http://nitoprograms.blogspot.com/2008/07/soyo-widescreen-monitor-inf-available.html

The weird thing is Vista x64 used to be able to detect & change to the native resolution without any inf file. However after a fresh install of Vista x64 SP2, I had to install the inf file for it to show native resolution!

I do use a, very basic, Belkin 2 port [PS/2+VGA] KVM switch. I have tried hooking up the monitor with or without the KVM, also switched between the x300 & HD4850, without any success. The other computer with XP SP3 & a x700 can detect native resolution with/without the KVM and connecting through the VGA/DVI ports.© 2009 Microsoft Corporation.
