Touch pad scrolling problems
- I have a Dell Insprion 1525 and I updated the OS to Windows 7 64-bit. Now the scrolling on my touch pad doesn't work. I saw that there is a driver to download for 32-bit but not 64-bi. So how do I fix the problem?

I found this by searching the internet for an Alps Touchpad 64-bit driver. It a Vista driver, but should work.

The below link has more info about the driver.

- Sounds like your Laptop isn't 64 bit. Did you try downloading the drivers from dell, or the Manufacturer of the touchpad?
I'd say try drivers from both. But maybe it isn't a driver conflict and all you need to do is muddle with the settings a bit.
Plus Dell does not deal with 64 bit drivers.

It should be a driver issue so as we cannot find a driver, you can try to contact Dell to see if there is any availible driver we can get. I tried to search for your laptop on Dell. As there is no 64bit driver for this computer, this computer may not be designed to install a 64 bit system.

Well, I don't think Dell makes too many of the drivers themselves. But many Dell machines offer drivers for Vista/Windows 7 64-bit.
