I keep losing audio drivers

Friday, April 27, 2012 10:46 PMI have had Windows 7 installed on an HP laptop for over two years, all of a sudden, the audio driver will not stay loaded.

Hi,
I suggest you reinstall this driver for the test. For detail steps:
1. Click the "Start" Button, type "Device Manager" (without quotation marks) in the Search Bar and Press Enter.
2. Expand "Sound, Video and game controllers", Right click your Audio Device and choose uninstall.
3. When this is done, make sure that you are connected to the internet and right click it choose "Scan for hardware changes".
This should reinstall the driver and find a suitable driver.
If this doesn't work, go to HP website and make sure that you've downloaded the correct drivers.

If the issue persists, try to perform system restore for test. Also, you can update the BISO and Chipset for the computer.
